The Britzingen Market Cooperative: A True Taste of the Markgräflerland
The Britzingen Market Cooperative is proud that the tradition of Markgräfler connectedness goes hand in hand with a vibrant enjoyment of life. This sense of community and appreciation for nature is reflected in every sip of our premium Britzinger wine selection. These wines are the living result of the collaboration between passionate winemakers. The Winzergenossenschaft Britzingen eG creates wines with unmistakable character.
Their way of life and work shape the location in the cosmopolitan border triangle between Basel, Colmar, and Freiburg – the Markgräflerland. The artisanal winemaking tradition of the member families stretches back over 12 centuries, with care in the vineyards and a sense of quality being part of the Markgräfler lifestyle for generations. The cooperative has 140 members, who manage approximately 200 hectares of vines in the foothills of the Black Forest.
