Terms and Conditions
1. General Terms
The offer is non-binding. Vintage changes, price alterations, interim sales, and corrections of obvious errors are subject to change.
2. Payment Terms
Our prices are net in Swiss Francs, including VAT. The invoice is due upon order or delivery. Upon prior agreement, we deliver to known regular customers against invoice, payable within 10 days net. A monthly late fee of 1% will be charged in case of payment delay. The goods remain the property of Schellenberg Wine until the invoice is paid in full.
3. Delivery
Deliveries are made only as agreed. Transport and shipping costs are not included in the stated prices. It is possible to pick up the order at the agreed location after prior phone notification.
4. Returns and Exchanges
Returns or exchanges of products are generally excluded. Cancellation of ordered products is only possible after consultation with Schellenberg Wine. Products specially ordered for the customer are excluded from returns or exchanges. If products are accepted back after written confirmation from Schellenberg Wine, the customer will receive a credit note upon receipt and inspection of the goods, minus a handling fee per item. The price on the day of the return or exchange will apply as the basis for all returns and exchanges. If the price has increased, the customer will only be refunded the amount they originally paid.
5. Cork Replacement
Wines bottled in Switzerland, both domestic and foreign, with cork taste will be replaced or credited within 12 months from the delivery date. The bottles must be at least 3/4 full and should be returned to us free of charge or handed over to one of our field representatives.
6. Youth Protection
The sale of beer and wine to individuals under 16 years of age and of spirits to individuals under 18 years of age is prohibited in Switzerland. Online wine purchases are only allowed for individuals 18 years and older. By placing an order, the customer confirms the accuracy of their details and affirms their eligibility to make the purchase.
7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This legal relationship is governed by Swiss law. The court of jurisdiction is the district court in Bülach.
